I am getting a very long sequence of boot codes, normally its only when the computer has been off for a few hours. When I turn it off for 20 min or so, it will boot back up normally w/o any boot error codes. I've tried reseating the vid and ram, also all fans are spinning (they will do an initial spin, stop, then start back up going full time from there out)
Here is the sequence..
LONG (normal post beep in a different tone) SHORT SHORT LONG SHORT SHORT LONG SHORT LONG SHORT SHORT
Here is what the manual lists as the meaning of certain error codes...
1 SHORT - OK
2 SHORT - CMOS Setting
1 LONG 1 SHORT - DRAM/ MB Error
1 LONG 2 SHORT - Display
1 LONG 3 SHORT - keyboard
1 LONG 9 SHORT - BIOS/ROM
CONTINOUS LONG - DRAM
CONTINOUS SHORT - Power
I didnt think error codes repeating, but my guess would be display problem, dram/mb error, display problem
Also when I take out the video card, the short beeps are MUCH faster and right after another
BEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEPBEEP
with vid card in and it does it's crazy sequence its a longer short beep with time between
BEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEP
