You have the makings of a fine system. Now have a GOOD install job done and your set.

he already said CC is handeling the install....personally I don't have much exp with them except they put a nice birds nest in my old Mustang when they installed my alpine alarm (last time I went to them)...I know the local best buys when they opened up around here went to all of the high perf stereo shops and paid their best guys even more to jump ship over to them....

$1050 down the drain.. and nothing on that list is even making me go "oooh, aaaahh" about.

for car audio people, my least is no where near top of the line, but compared to factory crap, I think it will make a vast improvement.

Don't listen to all these people making it sound like your system is crap. For a thousand bucks, you didn't get THAT bad of a deal, sure you could have shopped around a little but no big deal. As far as quality of your system, I'm positive you'll love it a lot more than the factory-installed system you got with your Nissan, I'm sure your friends and family will agree with you as well and tell you that your system does knock.

One question; is your Pathfinder new? My dad bought a Nissan in 2002 and got the upgraded sound system (Bose) and for a factory-installed upgraded sound system, it's definetly nice as hell. Pure quality as usual from Bose, that's all I can say.

2001, I had the bose deck and underneath was the cd stacker. The deck gave out & nissan wanted $500 w/labor just for the deck. So with a budget of $1000, I thought I could do a lot better.

Sounds like a good system to me. Infinity / Alpine is good gear. Not top of the line, but tis solid stuff no doubt.
So, heres the kicker. You have good gear, but what about install? You havent mentioned 1 thing about that... The best gear in the world will sound like ass if you have a bad install. Run of the mill gear can sound like the best gear in the world if you have a tuned install.....

You have the makings of a fine system. Now have a GOOD install job done and your set.

I am having CC install it, which got ill feelings here, but I know the guys, and I think they'll do a good job.
