I remember my cute little hapster. I was about 13 and I saved some money to buy him, the same day, he some how got out of his cage and ran away. It was a very sad day for me, /i wonder if he's still in my house someone, in between the walls ....

I had a couple ginea pigs as a kid. They all pased on to ginea pig heaven too

My dad later found out mosquitos and fleas were carying some sort of disease that really was deadly to hampsters and ginea pigs.

We had hamsters until my then 4 year old found out that they don't land on all fours like a cat. I got nailed by my son on one of them when I told him I'd bury the hamster and he found it a day later in the garbage can.

I hate dogs, ugh. The only one I like is myputer's Max, a rottweiler who I swear is almost human. I am a cat person myself, and since we have a cat and five kittens, we are doing ok in that department. That is until it's time for the kittens to get new homes, yikes.
