I'm looking for an entertainment center that can support a 40" tv and at least 6 different game consoles, and of course one htpc. But I want it to be designed well enough that the game consoles will actually stay in the center instead of ending up sprawled all over the floor due to logistical issues. Does anyone know of any reasonably priced design? I'm not totally against the idea of building it myself, but I cant quite think of a way to place all 6 consoles so that they'll all be usable.

  • What is a reasonable price?
  • What do you mean by stay in the center? why will they move?
  • How can there be logistical issue with game consoles? They only supply it needs is power and Disk.
  • You will also need place for video input switch, no 40 TV will support 7 HD inputs.
This is wide enough for fit all if you hang you TV on the Wall

I've been considering a stand like this http://www.amazon.com/Avista-Numina-.../dp/B001RCUH76 to mount a 50" - 55" TV. Would be nice to have it off the stand so I can put a center channel speaker below it plus some of these stands have height adjustable mounts which offers some flexibility.

That looks pretty nice. Plenty of room to work with. It looks like it can almost hold 5 wiimotes, 4 xbox controllers, 2 PS3, 4 PS2, 4 N64, 2 SNES, 2 NES, 3 dreamcast .... lol did I miss anything?

a word of warning when ordering any of those glass ones from Amazon. there is a huge chance it may come in 10000 pieces, I tried twice and it was massively broken when it arrived. said F it and built my own
