a mobo for my new setup

Hey guys and gals, I am in the process of getting new parts and so far, I got these parts:

2 SATA 36G Raptors (looking for RAID 0)
Connect 3D radeon X850 XT PE (PCI-E)
2 gigs Mushkin special 2-2-2 PC3200 DDR (4x 512MB)
Will get a AMD 3500+ or 3700+ (939) depending on $$


So now I am looking for a motherboard. I want good onboard sound, I need firewire for my Ipod. Those are the basics.

I had the MSI Neo4 platinium in mind.

What do you guys think?

I recommend either the Neo4 or the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium. Those would be my two picks 😉 .

but why the SLI?? I dont need it as I have a ATI card.

It has more features than the regular. Of course, if you buy the nForce4 Ultra, you will have those features without the extra slot. I would recommend the EPoX if you want an nForce4 Ultra. If you want the regular nForce, go with the MSI.
