As I was getting out of my car in downtown Brooklyn NY, my knee must have hit the "open trunk" button on the door of my Maxima. About 4 hours later, I happen to glance out of the window of the room where I was, and I see that's it's wide open. I double time it down to my car, and my woofer and 5.1 amp are STILL THERE! I'm in shock.

Heh. That is interesting. Anyone who saw it must have thought that someone was about to go out and get something.

Now that everyone has had a good look at it, the next time you leave your car for awhile it won't be! :D

The cheapo Sony Xplod RF CD changer I had installed in the back of my take home MARKED car was swiped in about fifteen minutes when I went into one of our local high school to deliver some alchohol intervention program literature and talk to the principle. You got lucky.

They're probably too scared, thinking it was a trap.

HUH?

I'm guessing he's talking about the cars that police depts are using that are specially modified to be stolen (remote control of the ignition, cameras and microphones to record the event, etc).
