Hey all. I was looking at some options around and am trying to find a micro-ATX motherboard with atleast 6 SATA ports. I need 4x SATA 6Gbps ports for RAID-0 of SSD's. Out of these 12 which one would do? I'm getting confused by some where they are on different controllers. Thanks.

Yea, GL finding a board with 4x 6Gbps SATA ports. Most mATX are designed for mATX cases which don't have enough room to accommodate that many drives. You are better off going for a full ATX board.

Any good full-size ATX boards? I do no need to OC. I see the same thing. the 6Gb/S controllers on different controllers.

the 6Gb/S controllers on different controllers.

That is a limitation on Intel chipsets. There are currently NO Intel chipset that supports more than two native SATA 6Gbps ports. If you want to use an Intel CPU and do 4 drive RAID with SATA 6Gbps, you currently will have to use a PCIe add-on card like this one.

Alternately, switch to an AMD platform and use a motherboard like these which have six native SATA 6Gbps ports with RAID capable across all ports.
