I feel like this video rates it's own thread .... share this everywhere you can think of if you agree.

In the below-linked video Beau is talking about the situation we're facing in America right now with the election next week and the rational reasons to put aside "toeing the party-line" and vote for right and wrong instead.

The issues couldn't be more clear IMO and the only way to MAYBE change some minds is to talk about it.... even ONE mind opened matters and Beau says it far more effectively then I can.

We're on the brink right now in this country .... BE the straw that breaks the camel's back!

Pretty sure this guy is saying there are lots of people out there who we can't compromise with

I agree completely.

That doesn't mean "compromise" itself is suddenly bad though and all "attacking" does is make people shut down. (even those who MIGHT otherwise listen)

Beau is usually sorta optimistic but this video makes it seem like even he has seen the writing on the wall.

Moore v Harper will be the final nail. In some ways it will be a relief to just get it over with and rip off the band-aid and the GOP can just lord total victory over all of us.

Best case scenario they get caught up in-fighting over tax cuts and de-regulations and forget about the other ambitions they had for persona non grata.

Ultimately what happens when you can't vote people out is the unhappy resort to assassination. Assassination or the threat of it was a major driving factor behind why the founders favored a democracy as we have. It keeps the peace when you know there's always another viable election around the corner.

Key word there, VIABLE election. Considering the amount of the GQP base and the amount of GQP politicians having success running as election deniers, the viable part is getting kind of iffy.

Stop using the word 'US'. You're obviously used to bending over and gladly taking it up your ass based on your posts.

Well, during dump's term they did nothing, so I don't expect them to be efficient in following an agenda. Cripes, they didn't even have a Platform in 2020...

Yup, totally agree with Beau. Of course, with me, he's preaching to the choir, but yeah, glad to see and hear that. It's by far the shortest video I've seen from him.

Does he have an entity behind him or is he actually "just a person" with a following?

Serious question - who is this guy and why does everyone post videos of him on this forum? I've seen multiple videos in various posts of this guy but I have no idea why he's relevant and why people value what he says so much.

Technically speaking if you don't live in a state where the legislature has butted heads with the state supreme court regarding election maps and other matters, then sure, it doesn't include you (for the moment).

Otherwise, you're screwed just like the rest of us.

On the other hand, I have always voted for the candidate I thought was best for the job, regardless of party - until this year. This time I feel that the other party is just so completely wrong, has gone so completely off the tracks, that I am voting for only my party candidates. I'm not particularly happy about it, but I'm doing it just the same.

First time I've ever herd of him is this thread. Looks to me to be a reasonably well spoken liberal with a minor in drama.

He is absolutely correct that while 2020 was "good".... it did not go nearly far enough.
My hopes for the future rested on an apparently false understanding that America would be repulsed by the stupidity and the soft evil that was Trump.
Instead, I saw that fellow Americans actually cemented their support for it! That an entire one half of our two party system wasn't treating that corruption as a passing fad.
No, they were wholly doubling down and becoming the personification of that evil.

I saw how fake news turned into fake elections and calls to action... to end our Democracy. I saw Democrats with little to no power in Congress, and I saw a President who would take office and gain the liability of "owning" the economy after COVID wrecked it. Now that evil gets to claim power by pretending to save us.

Yup, it was very eye opening and sobering.

Because his "news" is very easy to digest in short clips. Usually less than 5 minutes. He has a background in Journalism/Security/Military(maybe as a contractor, not 100% sure on this one)/Police Training etc.

He is easy to like and has great historical perspective on most topics he discusses. My #1 follow on YT by far.

First time I saw one of his videos on YT was between the 2020 election and Jan 6th.

People around here place value on Beau's opinion because of what he says being concise, thought-provoking and for the most part spot-on accurate.
