Ok, need some advice in what to do.
I recently purchased a new CPU and mobo from vibe (2.4c, Asus P4P800). When i installed them, and had them running, i would at times have small graphical glitches. Then, after a little more time, the computer would just shut down after being in windows for around 3 seconds. Sometimes it wouldnt even get in. Most of the time it would just come up with a blue error saying Windows had shut down to prevent damage.
So i just thought it was my video card. I own a Ti4600, and needed a agp 3.0 card to try, since the motherboard only takes them. So i tried my brothers 9800 pro. It did the same thing. I just figured it was my new mobo. So I packed it all up, got ready to ship it back. Then i tried my video card on my roommates computer. It worked no problem. He ran some games without problem. Then I put together my old system with my TI4600, and it ran fine....for a moment. Then the graphical problems started to occur again. I placed a very old Rage128 card or whatever it is in my old system, and its all running fine now.
What could my problems be? I thought maybe it was the AGP slot in the P4P800. Then maybe just the video card, but it works fine in my roommates, but not mine.
Could it be my powersupply? Its a 420w antec.
I'm lost at what it could be.
