I'd like to get a wireless usb mouse for my notebook. I've seen some of the Logitech V200 style ones, but I don't really like them. They're too small, don't click well, and usually lack thumb buttons. It's more like you use your fingers to move the mouse instead of a hand. I normally use a MS Explorer 3.0 which is nice for my laptop, and an MX510 for my desktop... but less wire clutter would be nice.

Are there any out there that are big enough to fit the curve of your hand, and still be small enough to travel with?

Try getting a bluetooth module for your 8600. They only run about 25-30 bucks on ebay or these forums.

They can get cheaper than that, but then you have another device that needs to be plugged in.

Bluetooth is sadly very tough to get a "man" sized mouse for.

Logitech makes a few of BT mice. Problem is, the MX900 (discontinued) lacks an on/off button or switch, as does the BT version of the MX 1000 (found only in desktop sets). The V270 supports BT, but is smaller and lacks a forward/back button set, if you want it.

MS makes the Intellimouse Explorer for BT, but it too lacks an on/off button.

Several other brands make BT mice, but again, they're small.

The only BT mouse that seems to be full sized and have an on/off feature is the Radtech BT600. I've never held one in person, so I can't tell you how big it is or how it feels.

I use a Logitech MX610, I would rather carry a full size mouse (cause my hands are too big for those tiny notebook mice) and it has a real small usb receiver (way smaller than a memory stick).
