And almost a month w/o new drivers. I'm not complaining (by the way I hate Nvidia's WHQL drivers, they worse than non WHQL almost always), but saying this is not ussual and that they might have all the driver developing team working for a feature upgrade driver set. But that's only speculation

Bolded. 10 days ago the WHQL certification but drivers almost a month ago, which is very strange in Nvidia. Normally Nvidia has a leaked BETA every week or even more often. So this is strange, so I'm asking if somebody knows whether they are preparing something big, a super-driver. Maybe new features to Purevideo or something.

I wish they would fix the shimmering in BF2, I hate how vehicles in the didstance will dissapear for sveral seconds while you try to aim at them. I have a 6800U and this still is'nt fixed.

81.95 was released on December 9 which is only about ten days ago. Are you expecting daily driver postings or something?

No, do you? Beta drivers tend to be released in between official drivers and since nVidia have been releasing a lot of WHQL drivers lately there's obviously little point in releasing betas.

Hmm, a couple new directories on the nVidia FTP. 82.12 and MCE 81.98 this time, normal 81.98 still empty. So it looks like 81.98 may be the certified MCE driver and 82.12 may be the latest and most cutting edge for non-MCE people. Wonder when they'll actually release the drivers.
