Does that make any sense? I mean you can tell right away that they learned english as a second language.

White students seem to have a variety of handwriting styles, but it's not as obvious.

Of course, who cares when you can read it... right? I mean, not that many people can read my handwriting.

Brought to you by grader grading paper because he has nothing to do since 5:30 in the morning.

Are we talking about Chinese poeple from China? Or are you including Hong Kong and Taiwan, what about Chinese Americans do they write weird also? I've noticed that Chinese decended from Mongols write weirder then most but that's just me.

maybe they learn it how ur learn chinese. when u learn chinese u gotta get as close to the standard look as possible. very strict

you mean physically hand writing? cuz alot of them learn caligraphy (sp? 😕 ) and learn to hold the brush in a certain way...only thing i can think of that might cause that.

I'm curious as to wth you're talking about...first generation adults have some of the best handwriting I've seen since they all took the same lessons and write in similar consistent ways. second-gen...not so much. I learned calligraphy from my parents as a kid, but it has/had no impact on my english-writing skills.

Trying going from writing boring letters to creating intense symbols. Or from speaking English to Chinese. They're already steps ahead of us, whereas we're so damn lazy here that we have problems using our own language.
