For those of you who don't remember the original thread or didn't read it, one of my friends at work got a restraining order from his wife on V day. He never laid a hand on her, all he did was tell her to shut up.
Well several weeks later he happened to see her through a store window while he was riding by on his bicycle. He pointed to her and said "I'll see you next Tues." (When they had to go to some meeting together) a day or so later the police showed up and arrested him, and he spent two days in jail!
When he finally went to court over the restraining order, the judge (A female judge BTW) tossed the order out! She said there was no grounds for it!!
He has voluntarily left the house so his kids can come home, and is staying with friends.
BTW: A week or so after he got the restraining order, he was served with divorce papers. They have three children. Two daughters (his) and a son that was a infant when they met. The boys father was a married man that she had been sleeping with before they met, but my friend has raised him as his own. Several times my friend asked his wife "Why don't you get child support from his father?" She refused to do so, so my friend has taken the full responsibility financially of raising another mans child. Yet she is asking for child support from him NOW for their two kids!
The boy just turned 18, and they just got their house paid off. Now she wants it sold and wants half of the $$ from the sale. She has never worked while they were married. Interesting timing don't you think?
Edit: Oh yeah I forgot this little bit. While going through some papers around the house, he found bill's from a CC company totaling over 10 grand! All ran up by her without his knowladge. And here he was all happy that he was finally out of dept! Now he will probably get stuck with THAT to....
