A little tip for reducing noise from P/S

This may not be new knowledge but I've found it rather effective for my setup below, and therefore I thought it maybe would be appropiate to post about it.

I have a relatively loud Aopen 300W powersupply in my HX08 case. The case is situated on the floor, with the P/S fan pointing towards the wall.
Yesterday I noticed that some of the noise from was reflections from the wall.

As a result I have taken a towel and hung it behind the fan (about 20cm clearance). This reduces the reflections which are the most annoying. Especially the high turbulence noises have been reduced.

Be sure not to place the towel too close behind the P/S or the P/S might overheat.

BTW: I use a Gorb for the cpu, and found it a bit noisy. Are there other decent coolers which are more silent? (for none to moderate overclocking)

Hope this could help some... :)

Does your Gorb have the plasic ring around the top that's connected to the fan or is the newer one that has the fan glued to the heatsink? The one with the ring I've heard makes more noise. The retail fans are quit but maybe not the best for cooling.
