Cheer up everybody, spring is right around the corner. But in the meanwhile, here's the next best thing. These are just some daffodils I have forced to bloom at this time. Hope you enjoy!

No, I did it on my uber-cool living room floor :p Try as I might I couldn't get the light the way I wanted and still keep my light stand out of the shot, so I fixed part of the background digitally. Don't think too bad of me :(

What were your photographic techniques? ie. camera, background, lighting, ect....

Edit: Well I guess you answered most of this above.

The plants were in two pots, so I set them together on the floor, and put one flash on a little tripod about four feet tall above and behind the flowers, and the other flash in front and a little to the right of them just sitting on the floor. Then I lay down flat on the floor and snapped the shot. My wireless transmitter tripped the flashes and that was that. The shot was done at night in a pretty dark room, and the background was not illuminated so there's just nothing there. My little tripod that one of the flashes was attached to kept getting in the shot so I took it out in software.

gdamn. no wonder. i'm sitting here with a 2 mp and was wondering how it looked so clear.

in honesty though, even my 2mp is so much more detailed than a 35mm. i would love to get a high mp camera, but dont' want something bulky.

A 2 mega pixel is not even close to being as detailed as 35mm, IMHO

By the way that is a very nice pic
