But the provincial government will only print what is on your birth certificate on the driver's license, never mind mine was a translation. There are a handful of them that I interact with now and then, at least three own successful businesses.
It's actually more than a little startling to read some of things they believe. The obvious ones about chemtrails and the faked moon landing, but they also do mind control nanobots, space lasers burning Maui, and of course plenty about covid and the vaccine.

All the time, and a couple of them hate me for it.
Sometimes it's amusing, often it's just sad. I continue to visit because it's like watching a plain crash, I don't really want to see the carnage, but can't look away.

I should also point out that in other areas of the place there are a bunch great people that I enjoy interacting with.

I usually find that getting people like that to slowly and logically explain their position is enough for them to see that their position doesn't make sense. The trick is not to let them jump over the huge lapses in logic that they'll have.

I tried that, got absolutely nowhere.
The reality is most of it is harmless. These aren't people that are going to take up arms. A couple of them are expecting the military to toss out Biden and most other democrats and reinstate Trump as the rightful president.

A lot of the stuff reads like a Dr. Evil plot to overthrow the world. Most of the sites they link to are selling toe fungus cream and effortless weight loss pills. I had no idea that toe fungus was such a huge problem, that was a startling discovery.

We are ALL that crazy. The only difference is we didn't fall off the wagon. Most here still hold to the institutions that indoctrinated us into seeking reason from madness. Those "crazy" people, they chose to identify with something else. Because they are broken and needed something else, something new to cling to. And it doesn't make any lick of sense because it is organic and they live in a sheltered society that coddles them.

In ages past, people who fall of the wagon were either imprisoned, exiled, or killed.
Where as today, they are given social media platforms to try and spread their disease of the mind.
And given the sorry, stress filled state of our society.... there are more broken people desperately wanting something different to cling to. So their crazy tends to find a bit more purchase than it otherwise would.
