If your short on time just skip to the second paragraph, I got a little carried away....
I have been working on building a game that resembles the Capcom game Super Puzzle Fighter. Anyone know it, was the rage in the arcades for a while, I think it game out for playstation. Well anyways I found a copy for the computer in England (I havent seen it here) but to my disgust it doesnt work in win2K.
Not willing to go down without a fight I decided to test my new programming abilities with creating a similar game to scratch my itch. Fast forward 30 hours in front of my machine and one really angry girlfriend: I have an almost perfectly working game engine designed in C that has been implemented as a stdout (text) version and has been partially ported to PalmOS (partially because I only have the unregistered codewarrior :|). Their are a few additions to the game that I am working on but what I really need is an opponent player.
Basically what i'm looking for is a programmer looking to hone (or discover) their AI programming skills making at first a passable then a good enemy player. There is no money for it in the forseeable future but I do plan to finish the game and release it as freeware (or just possibly shareware) and you would be given full credit for whatever you added to the project. Would be valuable experiance and even something you might be able to put on a resume. Please feel free to PM me or email me @t itguysam@yahoo.com, theres no obligation and you can cancel anytime.
