A little problem with my Opera browser

Howard

For example, when I type in "forums." I get forums.anandtech.com, but nothing else. How do I get it to save the address of the different forum categories, threads, today.aspx, etc?

This was the main reason I switched to Firefox, but since that one doesn't really play nice when I've got a lot of system resources being used up, I went back to Opera (and I realized I missed the cached page history a LOT).

EDIT: Also, I don't get ANY history whatsoever when I type in "anandtech" (when I'm looking to visit www.anandtech.com).

Of course I've visited these sites before...

System: AXP 1800+, Windows XP SP1, 512MB PC2100, ECS K7S5A motherboard

It seems like a lot more work. With IE and Ff, I could hit Alt-D and type in foru... and usually get right to where I wanted.

Besides, even if it was faster, why would I want to leave a problem unfixed?

Also, is there a way to enable domain completion in the address bar (i.e. do something with "anandtech" to make it www.anandtech.com)? Waiting for Opera to do it automatically is longer than I would like, and I'm not sure how it would handle different web sites with the same domain names but different net suffixes (com, org, net, etc.).

Well, I deleted the history/cache files in the case that they might have been corrupted, but I still don't get the address stored.
