A little problem with headphones/receiver

I just got my headphones replaced - they are SONY MDR-7506. While they were broken, i bought a new receiver, Denon 3802. Now, with my old receiver, the speakers would automatically be turned off whenever the headphones are plugged in. Not so with this one. Both speakers and headphones are playing now. How do i turn the speakers off?

It's in the manual on page 45

1) Connect the phones to your jack
2) On the remote, press the output button to switch the output to headphones only (speakers and pre-amp out will be muted)
