Many are awaiting a full review...be patient I just got it but have learned a few things already...

1) Epox boards suck!!! Just kidding I think...They are so picky....

2) I can get ram to 1.6@2.6ghz w/ 163fsb for 436mhz ddr....last place I can run it without having restart issues...yes I can boot into 166fsb for 442mhz ddr and even get 3340/3336 in sandra...restart and I have a slim chance of restarting...tried pretty much all settings and timings and all available voltages as well as raising vcore a notch from previously stable vcore with the cpu....

Little test.....

Divx encoding of movie...

Base is my previous best mark at 1.6@2.736ghz with 342mhzddr w/ 2.5,6,3,3

1.6@2.736 342ddr = 2 hr 15min

1.6@2.60 432ddr (cas 2.5)= 0 min
1.6@2.62 438ddr (cas 2.5)= - 1 min 40 sec
1.6@2.64 440ddr (cas 2.5)= - 3 min 20 sec

1.6@2.72 340ddr (cas 2) = - 3 min 20 sec
1.6@2.74 342ddr (cas 2) = - 4 min

3dmark2k1 se (no real tweaking and ocing of vid card) just for comparison

1.6@2.60 432ddr (cas 2.5)=9558
1.6@2.62 438ddr (cas 2.5)=9608

1.6@2.66 332ddr (cas2.5) =9532
1.6@2.72 340ddr (cas 2) =9708

At current point unless I can solve the restart issues at high ddr speeds I may be happy to run cas2 at 2.736ghz as it appears faster...NOw if I could have gotten the ddr at 166fsb or 167fsb it likely would have done better then the cas2 at 2.736ghz (171fsb)

Still have some cadd test to do...

Btw, can you do CAS2 and DDR370? I'd like to confirm my suspicion that XMS PC3000 CAS2 and XMS PC3200 CAS2.5 are the same thing, given their almost identical prices.

If your PC3200 CAS2.5 RAM will run DDR370 at CAS2, that would help confirm my suspicions that its the same as the XMS PC3000 CAS2. But its pretty much just a matter of mild curiosity. In any case, thanks for the post, that's good info on the RAM :)

That is correct I was using 3:4 ratio for the top ones and 1:1 ratio with it at cas2....

The Corsair guy on the Corsair website forums has said that the PC3200's and PC3000's are the same chips, just tested at different speeds.

Definitely not right now! Have you seen the latest prices? OMG :Q
Hopefully prices when drop when they release faster memory...
