A little poem about Dick Cheney...

Found this little gem, and couldn't help but share...

In the land of politics and power, There once was a man named Dick Cheney.
His reign was marked by great dismay, And many people lived in fear each day.

He made decisions, both bold and cold, And often left a trail of tears to behold.
His time in office was filled with strife, And he left a legacy of pain and life.

But now he's gone, and we must move on, And leave the past where it belongs.
Though some may remember him with regret, He'll always be a part of history, it's set.

Too bad that poem is a factual representation of his war mongering days in the White House. A worthy epitaph of his service against the people of the nation. At least he's refrained from rewriting history as he's attempted to do since leaving his trail of blood from the Middle East to his hands.

The biggest Dick since Nixon bares his (latest) pig heart from an unwanted location:
Alas, when it comes to linking to Twitter

My mood it seems turns quite to the bitter

And the degree to which it doth vex

Has improved not one wit by rebranding to X

Forgive me then if I seem brusque

And trumpet like an elephant in musk

Or like a load of buckshot to the face

Find alternate means to hold Dick Cheney in disgrace

When I find myself aligning, even somewhat, with Dick Cheney and Mitch McConnell, well . . . 😱

Hehe. I should hope so. My problem isn't so much in aligning with them. I find them disgusting. But that worries me because I am pretty sure that how I feel about them I first learned to feel about me. Sadly, it isn't true that:

Sad, I thought I was going to get poems from Aircraft Carriers being blasted over the communication systems.

Per Tuberville.
