I am building a new system to replace my Dual MP1600+. I am getting one of the new P4's with the 533mhz bus. I already have my two 512mb Corsiar XMS-3200 memory running at DDR400. I am not sure what motherboard to get or which chip to get. I am a hard core programmer looking to overclock my system. I most likely will get a koolance pc2-c water cooled case, so cooling won't be an issue. I was looking at a P4 2.26ghz or the 2.4. But I definately want to get up to 2.7-3.0ghz if I can. Any/all help would be much appreciated.

Go for the 2.26 if you are gunna overclock like you say.

It looks like cash isn't too much of an issue for you, so I would say get the Asus P4B533-V (i845G) motherboard. I second the vote for teh 2.26B.
