I've been following this topic for some time now. Your information here is what persuaded me to buy the IP35-E. I'm a noobie at overclocking and I'm having a little difficulty.

Here's my setup:
ABit IP35-E, C2D e6850, 2 x 1gb Crucial Ballistix PC8500 (1066), eVGA GF8800GTS 640mb and good PS and Seagate drives.

The CPU is 3.0 ghz. I change the CPU freq to 400 and the it runs fine at the new speed of 3.6, but the memory is now in the 800 to 900 range. How to I get the memory to run at it's spec spec of 1066? I haven't changed the timings from default, but I did have to bump the memory voltage up to the Spec voltage of 2.1v.
I've also bumped the CPU and NB voltage up just one notch.

Thanks

Doesn't improve performance anyway. You're using DDR2-1066 for overclocking headroom and not as if running at that above the FSB will make any difference.

But, in the answer to your question, raise the FSB to memory divider in the BIOS.

I think he wants to run the memory a higher clock than his FSB.
