A little help with BF2 resolution...

Hey everybody,

I recently upgraded to a 7800gtx. I play BF2 alot and really wanted to play it in higher resolutions. However, the resolution choices in the game max out at 1152x864. Am I missing something here? Is there a patch or something that I haven't gotten? BTW, I have a dell 2005fpw. Help a guy out, please? I know it is probably an easy fix, but I can't figure it out. Thanks.

Mine maxes out at 1280x960@60hz. Im guessing thats because my LCD dosent go any higher than that. Perhaps your display dosent go higher than 1152x864?

This has been covered over several posts in the software forum

Change your BF2 short cut so that it forces 1680x1050 (the native resolution of the Dell 2005FPW)

"D:\Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
