Hello I am wondering if anyone can help me out here. Im looking for a song. A country song beleive it or not. My girl and I are mostly rock and alternative fans but there is a few country songs that my girl really likes. I am looking for the Tim McGraw song Dont Take the Girl. If anyone can help me out that would be great as I see no reason to have to go out and buy a cd that I only want one song from.

thanx.

Magikal, mp3's are illegal, not allowed here. Unless you are saying you want to buy a legal electronic version of this song. Which, depending on the record label, may or may not be available.

One of the few country songs I like. If you don't want to buy the CD then I would just go to napster and get it.

Perhaps there is a single from it?

soybomb, singles are a joke. Most singles are pressed with 100,000-200,000 copies, and they sell quickly, if they make a single for the song at all. I worked at Sam Goody for about a year, and i cannot tell you how many times people bitched cuz the record label didnt release a song.

The most memorable one was Trickdaddy - Nann(i hate rap =]), they made 50,000 copies of that single, and they sold out like crazy. I had psycho wannabe's on my ass for weeks with that one.

Another thing is that most record companies put stuff that sits on the shelf on vendor delete, which means they buy them all back and sell them 5 years later for double the price =].

Well I just remembered that I ordered it last night. I did also find it on the net. Oh well maybe she will like some of the other songs on the cd. Probably not :0)
