heres my new video card above from newegg,
i dont have a mini port display just DVI and displayport, i just ordered the The Atlona AT-DP400.......1 monitor to ACD 27" when it arrives

computer system:
Asus CrossHair IV Extreme AMD/SAS 15k sas drives
PC system

you just need a displayport to mini displayport cable.

oddly - i needed a mini displayport to displayport cable and the apple folks had nothing. (hook my macbook air up to a HP ZR30W). Odd folks they are. i think the cables are like $6-7 online.

He would need a DP male to MiniDP female cable. The cable on teh back of the ACD is hardwired.
