I've got a computer I put together with spare parts that has been doing nothing (I named it the hybrid) Anyway, ran a bunch of different OSs on them to see what they were like.

I put on BeOS professional, Corel Linux, Mandrake Linux 7.2, and windows Whistler. To make a long story short, I wasn't interested in any of them, except Whistler, but i didn't want to use a beta os.

Anyway now i'm running Windows Advanced Server to setup a DHCP / NAT configuration cuz i got 2 NIC's

I thought BeOS was interesting, but useless. It might go well if it had more software, but please note, i was able to crash it.

Corel Linux was simply retarded.. i dunno why i installed it (Its a year old version anyway)

MAndrake was pretty cool, but i had to uninstall it to install Win2k. However, being a Linux newbie it didn't make any sense to me.

Give me your welcomed opinions on some OS's other than Windows! :)
