I just downloaded the lastest drivers from Asus for my 9600XT. They are circa 11/24/04 so I'm hoping they are Cat 4.11s

Anyone know how I can tell.?

quickest way is to go into your advanced display properties and click on the "options" tab. It will list your Catalyst version, etc.

Good luck!

Ok from the options tab it says the following
2D Version is 6.14.10.6483
Display Driver Version is 8.061-040921a-018724C-Asus

Any Ideas which Cats these might be?

LOL. All video drivers start with 6.14. If you really want to give them their non-catalyst name, then they are the 6483 drivers, which is what Catalyst 4.11 is based on. The official Catalyst 4.11's have the exact same tag too: 6.14.10.6483 .

So, they are based on the newest non-beta drivers from ATI :) .

The 4.12 beta's are based on driver package 6490 btw.

Thanks!

They let me play HL2 at 1280x1024 no AA or aF at high detail pretty smoothly with my 9600XT at 526/648. So I'm pretty happy with em.
