A Link for some food for thought

Little more off topic, but hey..... I was reading all the fun things you can do with the Netpliance Iopener. I can't wait to pull out my soldering Iron and get to work. 🙂

Just for the rest of you http://www.linux-hacker.net/, is where you can see many neat items that are very hackable. I really like how people post how to add USB and other items to these units.

Anyway

i got a couple of those i openers many months ago.
they are not to hard to hack if you spend a little time.
makes a nice little win 98 box.

i used one of them for a month or so for what they
were intended and i can see how they would be useful
but i am waiting to get one of those cordless webpads.

but to add a touch screen, wireless networking,
and battery pack to the Iopener it would not be
worth it.
and even then you would not have something that could
be used very well.
