A lazy Partition Magic question.

I am lazy to read the how-tos of Partition Magic, so could somebody please help and tell me how to increase the cluster size? I am reformatting all my drives and reinstall. In addition, if you increase to 16kb cluster from the win2k default of 4kb will the 2k installation do its normal procedure of formatting the drive with 4kb anyways?

I don't see why you'd wanna increase the cluster size, but as long as the disk is formatted before you start the setup for Win2K, you can skip the part where Win2K formats the drive for you.

The smaller the cluster size on the HD the less wasted space you have in the clusters. I makes sence to have the smallest cluster sizes you can..

In partition magic 6, the option is in Operations/Advanced/Resize clusters..

Cluster size is a low level setting, if the drive can take the size of the clusters(if you are increasing the size of the clusters you don't have to worry) then win2k will not 'see' the change.
