AUTO THEFT

A police officer driving on 10th Avenue North became curious about a white Honda Civic stopped at the intersection with 57th Avenue. Moments later a man flagged down the officer to say the car had just been stolen. The Honda then fled, with the officer in pursuit until the driver, with hair described as a "large Afro-like puff," jumped out of the vehicle and outran the officer. A police dog was unable to track the suspect. Fingerprints were taken from the vehicle.

Some people were saying it was a racist description...I didn't believe it until I looked it up.

Still I think it's pretty descriptive (and funny) rather than racist.
