A lame question about girls.

How many of you know girls like this: southern blonde, really into her social life, probably a bit snobbish, etc. etc. etc. Well this, I know , is not always the best match for a nerd like me, but I have a problem. I live in a town where girls with Blonde hair, tight curves, and expensive cars ALL come with that attitude...no joke...ALL of them. (dont give me the whole Exception to the rule deal, im sure they exist, but not in any visible minority). I have dated recently, and tried to get close with girls who offer me intellectually stimulating conversation, and women who arent concerned with looks, money , etc. (at least not AS much as these other girls I am talking about). The problem is this: I am not physically attracted to this kind of girl. I am turned on my Cute blondes, with nice tans, and I am really turned on my that whole attitude that comes with that! I cant help it..I just AM! So what do I do? I am working on projects locally that will keep me where I am for at least a few years. I need to interact with the opposite sex, or I will go MAD! Now generally these young blondes cause nothing but problems for me...they are usually very spoiled. I know this really smart, sweet, girl that I have dated before that would love to date me, but as nice and intelligent as she is I am just NOT attracted to her physically. This is my current dillema.

Helpless: well I am not confused about the Gender of humans that I am attracted to physically, it is basically confusion about a conflict I have between what I want physically, and what is good for me emotionally/intellectually.

Just for the record, are you really sure that this is the place to be coming for advice with women? Regardless, I'll throw what little advice I have on this subject your way. Become friends with the intellectually stimulating woman and see what happens. There are a number of women whom I know that are much more attractive to me now that I really know them than they were when we met. And it is not the women who have changed. The Blonde will do nothing but get uglier in your mind's eye, while the other woman will become increasingly attractive. At least, that has been my experience.

I'm not saying you should have to go for something totally different but the only type of woman you are interested in is blonde, thin, tan and a nice car and annoying attitude, sounds pretty shallow to me.

It is just a PHYSICAL thing. I mean, I usually HATE their attitude on a lot of levels, but when the bedroom door shuts, and the close come off. I am NOT going to get aroused by a pale skinned, overwieght, absent of a really-cute face. I have been through this with girls I find more intellectually stimulating than anoyone I know, and I just cant get excited. I would just rather talk with them.
