Assuming that is typical, why do kangaroos have such pendulous balls? Is that really necessary temperature-wise versus the seeming disadvantages?

Bi-curious. Seriousry, that would be a big floppy inconvenience. I can only assume they are not as fragile as the hu-man variety when it comes to knock induced pain.

Maybe it's the constant bouncing that kind of.....stretches things out a bit.
