Too mechanical. I'm thinking nothing more advanced than an atlatl. I could be convinced a recurve bow is acceptable. There should be no gearing to reduce draw/hold weight, and nothing automatic for the trigger. Finger held only.

There has to be some technology allowed. Compound bows and store bought arrows should be allowed. I am not going against Smaug with a hand made arrows.

I don't think the weapons or anything have to be handmade, but there should be work into defending yourself/hunting. We got into this mess cause we're basically gods. Humans could use the humility of not being definitively on top of the food chain. Any encounter should be able to go either way.

Are complex human powered weapons to be allowed? im talking medieval siege equipment such as a trebuchet. I've always wanted a trebuchet.

Man wait until you find out how we killed things before we invented guns.

US indigenous populations used to run herds of buffalo off cliffs. Firearms are a lot more humane, and I'd rather humans use those than come up with 'creative' solutions like dropping trees on them and waiting four days for them to die.

I think that we have about 10 cow deaths a year so this is one metric that we beat the US on!
