A idea so telemarketers can stay employed

You know how its hard to get a actual person when you call in for customer service? You have to go through endless automated sequences to get a live voice operator. Why not just hire all the unemployed telemarketers as telephone customer service agents?

Better yet... have them call us from time to time just to make sure everything is ok... see if we need anything. Maybe once a week... make sure we aren't a rotting carcas in our own basement.
 
Because then the tech support organization has to pay for a person instead of letting the already-paid-for computer to do the call routing, customer service be damned.
