Let's say after the orders were given, all that fiasco happened, all planes were either recalled or shot down, but one remained. Since it had no radio contact, it was going to carry out it's mission according to the last orders. Let's say one of the pilots decided that there is no way in hell he is going to let this happen, takes out his gun and shoots the captain and everyone else. The mission is aborted and the world is safe.
This person is able to land safely, and comes back to the US. Will he be tried as a criminal for murder? He just saved the entire world from destruction.
Just wondering. I am guessing he will be tried, but probably not the regular punishment for murder
