Long Island Serial Killer Search has a suspect -- arrested by police and charged

I'm a sucker for serial killer searches/ podcasts and stuff so I'd be curious to hear your opinions as no one posted this so far in here.

It's quite interesting how this investigation started out flawed.. yet a tip just sat there for 12 years.

Then 12 years later a new task force doing a DMV search locates a vehicle matching the description in the area where you'd suspect.

Afterwards a person matching the description is found and in his trash his wife's DNA matches hair found on the victims.

Later on after a year he dumps his uneaten pizza crusts at his office and EUREKA!

So that begs the question.. how did he get caught..

Probably a combination of:

1. The culprit didn't like being scammed out of money and wanted service (opportunity for revenge) even though there were witnesses

2. The police actually listened to the witness despite the witness being a pimp

3. DNA technology improved to where it became conclusive vs probable

4. Motivation by the new task force.

That said do you think he's the murderer or it's still pretty far to prove it?

I don't f know if he is guilty or not but he clearly looks like a killer so he should just be shot on general principle. What really matters is that I sleep better.
