So, I've started this site. Well, let me back up. I live in Tallahassee, FL and for being a small town, we have a pretty decent local music scene. Most notably the band [enter flamesuit]Creed[/exit flamesuit] came from here. But, at any given time we have around 50 local bands and last year 5 got signed to pretty major labels. Moving on... I've always been a big fan of the local bands... kinda similar eating at local restaraunts opposed to Outback. So, as I said, I've started this site. It's like a local musician gathering. I wanted to keep it simple because I don't have all the time in the world. But, as the local bands kept giving me really good ideas. Needless to say, it has become more or less a full-time job... and I've only been working on it for 2 weeks. My question to you is this... I want to keep everything free for the visitors and bands... is there any other way to make money on it??
 
Ads, and accept donations. Maybe talk to the bands and tell them that you expect something in return when they make it big. Tell them it doesn't have to be a lot, but to remember you. Those are about your only options right now unless you get sponsorship for the site.
