Back in my apartment days these asian guys across the hall would have friends over and they would park in my assigned spot in the parking lot. After mentioning it to them once and one of their friends doing it again, I simply parked my car perpendicularly behind their car so they couldn't pull out of the spot (the building was in front of them).

A couple hours later they came knocking on my door asking me if I would move my car and apologizing for taking my spot. It never happened again.

no way is that worth taking a chance of them retaliating against your car by keying it or throwing a brick throw the window...

They could damage my car, true, but they still wouldn't be able to move theirs. That makes the cops job of identifying the guilty party pretty obvious as their car would still be sitting in my spot.

Let's just live life in fear and whomever wants to walk on us can. Ban guns when we are at it too.

There are other ways to get back that the asshat neighbor without putting your personal property in jeapordy, but you are too worried about your civil liberties to realize that...go buy some tinfoil or something...

Relevant? No. Enhancing? Maybe, although I should have included they were very short Asian guys who dressed like they were auditioning for a 50 Cent video.

"They see me rorring..."

Sorry, I have nothing against them and I probably could have just left the Asian part out of the story. Oh well.

QFT, isn't it illegal to park in front of someone else's garage anyway?

Call the cops and/or a tow truck

This is true. If they really don't care, it's likely that they will be less civil once you start having the car towed. The cops needs to have it on record in case of future incidents (ie if they retaliate for the towing).

You are in the clear here, if they start messing with you then you want to be the one on the high ground.

I didn't find another thread, was it deleted?

In any case, bump for updates/more info!

You obviously haven't read the thread.

Please get in the line forming to the left of people missing obvious things. I know a good sarcasm meter repairman I can refer you to.

So why not stop parking in the garage and park in front of it where they would. They be sure to aim a webcam at it in case they do something to it so you can then have them arrested.
