A Helpful Vista Tip for TV troubles

i was having jerky/skippy playback with vista ultimate. i installed purevideo and still nothing.

then i came across this program:
http://users.adelphia.net/~chr/vmcd.rar

you have to use this program to set the default audio and video decoder to nvidias purevideo or another 3rd party decoder.

hope this helps anyone, i did fumble on this one for a few days before i found the answer. cheers
 
You might want to give people some more information, or link to the software's official site...I don't know if a lot of people are going to download random rar files and install the software contained within. 😉
