I like that thousands and thousands bit. Does that make at least 4 thousand or what?

Failure rate is the thing to scrutinize if trying to determine product quality, whatever the product. Now that's a solid article.

I also like the note on overclocking. Come on end users, look at that stock cooler. What are you expecting?? Too many "my GT is running hot" posts already.

If you can pop open your case during gaming and "feel" hot air around a component, you have a ventillation issue. You have to assume these days that stock cooling was designed in a room with a lot of fans...

Well, even if it was just 1000, the failure/RMA percentage going by those 15 reported, is 1.5%. If it is 4000 like you suggest, that number only gets lower. So the thousands and thousands bit doesn't mean much, except that there are thousands.

My KO worky worky just fine. However, the card fails in the Nvid control panel any 'test' OC setting above my factory OC 675.

My card is failing when I run 3dMark06 and the Crysis Demo... I can't get either to play with out it crashing with in 2 mins. I get this error when 3dMark06 crashes:

IDirect3D9::GetDeviceCaps failed: D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE

Hard Crash with atrifacts sometimes, always looping sound and sometimes a black screen or picture. I started a topic in this forum on it yesterday, here.http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=2116189
