A haunted dvd-rw

After 10 fresh installations of windows I finally figured it out that my "Mad Dog" dvd-rw is haunted and caused random system freeze. After some careful thinking.. I unplugged it's power source.. no more random freeze

I guess dvd-rw ghost needs power to haunt.
