A great use for my i7 4930K

Generally speaking, the 4930K seems like overkill. However, after playing GTA IV on an i7 860 initially, playing it on my 4930K @ 4.5GHz is extremely refreshing. This game is a bloated pig, but it does seem to like all these threads!

I used to play GTA IV on a Q6600.. Played just fine under Windows XP. LOL!

Hey buddy, Video Editing or a DAW all HT apps. This is all you need a CPU with more then 4 cores, 8 threads.. I was using 36GB RAM on my last track. So no I didnt get it to show off, I need it. Sonar works amazing,, I wont have to upgrade for 10 years at least,, and for gaming, I will buy video cards thats it.

Definitely worth it.The performance improvements is quite good to justify for it.
