I'm going to one tonight at a pub where a local radio station is sponsoring the event.

went to one tonight. Missed last year, but was there the year before too.

Got myself another free Guinness T-shirt, and a cool little keychain. Drank my fair share of Guinness...

took part in the toast last night here in washington, dc. it's been going on annually for several years. for those who missed it, it's basically just one big raising of the glass at the same time in a bunch of cities across the u.s. and just in case anyone was too inebriated to actually hear the words uttered during the toast, here they are:

The Guinness is flowing, and oh what a night!
We're here to thank you, and thought that we might
Take a minute to praise the folks we love the most,

We toast to the parties that spread block to block,
