A good Win2K question for the Guru's

Hello,

Does anyone know that if one does a restore of the Win2K OS, if the local Admin password is set to null or if it retains the previous password? If you know this answer, could you please direct me to your source of information?

As long as the SAM file in \winnt\system32\config is restored, all the user account information, including Administrator, will be the same as it was before the restore.
