A good video editting card?

I want to transfer and edit home videos and archive them to CD.

I was planning on getting the ASUS V7700 Geforce 2 GTS Deluxe since its a fast card with Video-In/Video-Out features, but I've recently read some posts in which poeple weren't impressed with the G2's image quality (especially 2D). Does that adversely affect video quality? Since the G3 is supposed to improve on image quality, is it better at VIVO? How about the ATI Radeon VIVO?

And what's a good CD burner for the job?

Thanks in advance

Think of it this way. GF with video features is basically a gaming card with extra features. ATI puts far effort into the other features of their cards, and therefore they are better suited for what you want to use it for. I would go with either a Radeon VIVO or and All-in-Wonder.

Thanks guys,

What's the difference between the AIW and the VIVO? I've noticed that the AIW is 32 megs and comes with a lot of software, while the VIVO is 64 megs and cheaper, but doesn't come with the extras. But are they the same when it comes to video capture rates etc.?
