Here's what I have:

Looks & drives great, no accidents, non-smoker, seats are like new, title in hand, very clean interior, always parked in a garage.

Have detailed Carfax records.

Standard equipment:

• Split rear seat
• Center console with cupholders and storage
• AM/FM stereo with CD player and four speakers
• Front reclining cloth bucket seats
• HomeLink universal garage door opener
• Tilt steering wheel
• Air conditioning
• Vanity mirrors in cloth sun visors
• Power door locks
• Power windows
• Rear window defroster
• Dual auxiliary power points
• Fixed antenna
• Remote keyless entry
• Cruise control

Just detailed from bumper to bumper, including a light engine compartment detail. Tires are in great shape. Selling to make room in garage.

Some minor paint issues on rear bumper. Dent on front passenger door at midline.

I will ride along on all test drives.

Payment terms: cash or cashier's check/money order issued at your bank while I'm with you. No personal checks accepted. NO exceptions.

What am I missing?

Mileage and no trades etc.

Every time I list a car or something some idiot crack head tries to trade me his stack of 20 year old newspapers or their gremlin with rod knock for my porsche...

When I sold my 1098 I had a kid wanting to trade 3 zumas, a mid 90's gsxr, nice riding lawn mower, old beater corolla and big screen tv for it. He emailed me like 4-5 times over the period of a few weeks...

Pictures sell the car, every time.

Take 20 HUGE pictures and put them in the ad. I couldn't care less about the standard features, just give me a good idea of what car I'm going to see. If you do have option packages, do make sure to list all the optional equipment.

The way autotrader has their ads setup, the basic info is listed separately. Make, model, engine, trans, mileage, etc. are chosen from drop down menus.

Sorry for not mentioning that.

Heading out today to find a spot for photos. I'll bracket them +1 and -1 on either side, then toss them through HDR software...

Something about "oil changed every 5k with <quality brand>"

What maintenance items have been addressed? Surely something has been done in 86k...Coolant? Tranny? Brakes? Battery? Plugs?

Complete records are in storage. I think we'll call the shop that did the work and see if they can supply the info.

Do that. Put it in the ad. It may seem a little over the top, but when you're in the market for a used car, having someone who is anal about maintenance (and keeping records) is ALWAYS a plus. Be sure that comes through in your ad. At least hit the high points...they don't need to know about every oil change, but knowing that a car has been taken care of and isn't going to have an expensive failure soon is important.

Lots of people say "have all records", but in many cases that just means a couple of Jiffy lube receipts.
