A good tyre review website

Does anyone know of a good site to read up on tyres? I'm in the market for some.

I don't know about tyres, but tirerack.com has some good reviews of tires.

Cheers Shawn, I had seen that from one of the other posts, I'm not sure how reliable the surveys are though since they are done by the public...

Edit: I suppose I should point out that I'm not on your side of the pond and tirerack doesnt have much in the size range I'm after...

(Its 185/55/R15 if you a wondering. Might upgrade the alloys as packages seem almost as expensive as decent tyres).

Well if you are just looking for reviews the size shouldn't matter much just the model. I think the reviews there are pretty accurate. Also you can substitute tire sizes if you know what you are doing. As long as they are close you should be ok. For example my last car's stock tires were 185/60/R14 and I replaced them with 195/55/R14 with no ill effects.

You could replace your tires with 195/50/R15 or 195/55/R15 without causing any problems.

I will have to check the alloys size, I think its sufficient for 195's. Will also have to look at the local availability, cheers Shawn
