A good SLI?

I stumbled across a second 8800GT for my rig, but I don't have a SLI board so it?s unusable for me as of yet. I am building a new PC now so I have a chance to pick myself out a new MB with SLI, but what one?
I am going to be running a q6600 (that I will be OC'ing) with pc8500 ram so those are my limitations that I need to work with, and a price tag less then $200.
Heres a dumb question, if a board says it uses crossfire it does not mean it can also run SLI right?

Suggestions needed.

only the Nvidia 7xx and 6xx chipsets will support SLI, Nvidia did not license the SLI tech to intel, so you are stuck with their chipsets. I am in the current predicament because the 750i is a nice chipset, but the 780i has only a few more options for $60 more moneys.

Any suggestions from those that have built a SLI rig and have overclocked?

Your best choice would be a board with 750i chipset. Don't bother with 780i unless you're going for tri-sli with 3 gtx/ultra cards since it's exactly same as 680i with a bridge chip for the 3rd pci-e.

Keep in mind that nvidia chipset (other than 790i that uses ddr3) will not oc as well as the intel chipset boards, so don't expect a monster oc. :)
