Hello,

I have little knowledge with html and i use frontpage express to build websites. But i was thinking whether there's anything more powerful than frontpage express and at the same time easy to use program to create websites.

Thanks,

P.S - Would appreciate if the program is free.

I hope I don't get flamed for suggesting this, but.. I found Xara webstyle to be a great tool. Most of the work is done for you and all you have to do is enter your content, and maybe make some of your own graphics.

It is not free (there is a free & limited trial), but if you are a student you can get it much cheaper. I was able to buy it from them before they even had mention of an education discount on their website, but they have more details now: http://www.xara.com/ordering/education.asp

I haven't used or even heard of the software that Diz2K2 mentioned, but it looks pretty good.

this isn't free either but...

i'm liking the macromedia package: dreamweaver and flash 8. you can do some pretty amazing things with these two programs with ease. they are kindof expensive though, but ther eis a 30 day trial on their website. I like them much better than frontpage which i was also using for a while.

You might want to explain what your Web mastering aspirations are.

The word Best in such a situation is equal to the word ?Silly?.

I know people that for their purposes are very happy to save Document as HTML in Word and post it on their site.

Through many people on WinServers that are using FrontPage.

Or all the way to a full suit of Dreamweaver.

Just remember that the tool that you use might make you Cool in the eyes of some people here, but they are nothing but tools. (Do you care whether a House was built with DeWalt Miter Saw or Ryboi?).

The quality if your work is what the world to see on the Internet.
